A new home.

Ever since we moved from Illinois I cant believe the amount the change we went through. Starting school in the junior year was not to bad considering I have a twin. It made it easy making friends since we were together in all of our classes and the school was really small. Since it was small, everyone could notice a new face down the hallway and want to talk because kids were excited to meet someone new.

We headed home after meeting so many friends from school. It was a big change for life around the neighborhood compared to our old neighborhood. We used to live near the highway, O'Hare Airport and train tracks. Every 15 mins a plane would fly over, train would come back and forth heading to Chicago and the highway was...… well, the highway. Then moving to a neighborhood with a lake in your backyard was a big change. We could hear people talking from across the lake which was a big culture shock for me. My normal voice was considered really loud due to how loud I had to be with 747's flying over.

March comes and we are on lockdown. We all went to school that Friday without knowing that we wouldn't be back for a very long time. We all made were tense or made jokes about people coughing or sneezing because the symptoms list for COVID-19 was inevitable. This was the most interesting that happened to me in my new

PANDORA PROMISE

Talking about nuclear reactors has always been a sketchy topic, and it had a lot of bad reputation because of the word nuclear. When you hear "nuclear," people tense up. Everyone oversees a touchy subject, but they don't get the true story because people overlook it. So you had this solid residue, of "This is not primarily an Energy Source, this is primarily a weapon that we all think very bad about." Which caused all of the Anti-Nuclear Protests. The documentary captured the fear and why we shouldn't be scared of this type of energy was really amazing. One scene that still holds on to me is that "A pound of Uranium that is the size of your finger; if we were to disperse that energy, it would be equal to 5000 barrels of petroleum." That's just mind-blowing to know how much greater the efficiency is. I wasn't expecting to see how many people were against it, and they made stories called the china syndrome. The China syndrome is if a r...

From Where it All Started

Whether it was a day trip to amusement parks or a weekend vacation to State Parks, road vacations have always been essential to me throughout my life. Many trips have been an early morning drive to Disneyland or a month-long excursion dragging our RV through as many States we could; we were always up for an adventure. My parents' passion for traveling is how I hope my kids will have the same gratitude I did when I was in the RV.  Our RV with my Dad Smiling     When I travel now, I love the idea of driving. I've gotten so comfortable If I have to move across the country, I wouldn't have any problems. Over the past ten years, I've discovered the whole united states, including Hawaii and Alaska. Indeed it is fantastic to say you've been to all 50 states. However, if my parents had not done this, we siblings may not be as close, so I appreciate it so much. Alaska was the trip I prize. We left the summer of 5th grade in the RV head...

Esports

Competitive video gaming is a rapidly expanding global phenomenon with millions of followers and billions of dollars on the line. Casual gamers have been transformed into earnest stars, with seven-figure wages and enormous corporate sponsorships thanks to streaming services and live events.      Esports is entering the sports scene faster than you think. The game "Valorant" peaked at 16.6 Million viewers during the broadcast. That is on par with the NFL with an Average of 16.9 million viewers last year. We can definitely expect Esports to become one of the top things as the year goes on. The more people who watch will appreciate the pro players skills and respect this category of this sport.     It's cool to see college are introducing Esports too and a whole other playing field to video games as a whole. It brings a lot more variety in college sports and allows more people to participate in sports. It also introduces mor...
