Ever since we moved from Illinois I cant believe the amount the change we went through. Starting school in the junior year was not to bad considering I have a twin. It made it easy making friends since we were together in all of our classes and the school was really small. Since it was small, everyone could notice a new face down the hallway and want to talk because kids were excited to meet someone new.
We headed home after meeting so many friends from school. It was a big change for life around the neighborhood compared to our old neighborhood. We used to live near the highway, O'Hare Airport and train tracks. Every 15 mins a plane would fly over, train would come back and forth heading to Chicago and the highway was...… well, the highway. Then moving to a neighborhood with a lake in your backyard was a big change. We could hear people talking from across the lake which was a big culture shock for me. My normal voice was considered really loud due to how loud I had to be with 747's flying over.
March comes and we are on lockdown. We all went to school that Friday without knowing that we wouldn't be back for a very long time. We all made were tense or made jokes about people coughing or sneezing because the symptoms list for COVID-19 was inevitable. This was the most interesting that happened to me in my new
